The University campus community can now access the Chronicle of Higher Education in three new ways — at no cost to the individual.
- From an iPad: Download the Chronicle’s iPad editions. Download the Chronicle’s iPad app.
- Access the Chronicle using the Web browser of your smart phone or tablet device.
- Get direct access to the Chronicle of Higher Education from any computer and any location in the world without having to go through a proxy server.
You may also subscribe to Chronicle newsletters on the CHE website.
All that is required is for authorized users to have or create a free Chronicle account using their University of Minnesota email address.

What this page misses is that you can get the same (or other) regular newsletter subscriptions from CHE (not just access the paper online). There’s a link to “Newsletters” at the bottom of Chronicle.com, or go straight to http://chronicle.com/section/Newsletters/85
