About the Collections Facility

The Collections Facility will house over 3 million items on 32’ high-density storage shelving. Items in the facility are sorted by size and shelved in trays to maximize the number of items that can be stored. Materials in the Collections Facility are retrieved by staff; the collections can only be viewed by the public in our Reading Room.
